ERV - Emergency Response and Rescue Vessel

Ship is diesel electric driven and required electrical power is generated by 4 main generators. Propulsion is provided by 2 off pitch controlled (CPP) conventional propeller at aft. Dynamic positioning and maneuvering is provided by bow and stern thrusters. Motors to drive main propulsion units and bow/stern thrusters shall be driven by electricity that has been produced by main generators. The ship was delivered to Directorate General of Coastal Safety of Turkey in 2014 and is still being used effectively.
